The second of our two Christmas Eve services is a candlelit Festal Christ Mass with special musical offerings, traditional carols, and Plainsong chant.
If you come from a Christian background, you will likely find something here that resonates. Seasoned Episcopalians will encounter texts from The Book of Common Prayer and its supplements. Those who are seekers, those new to Christianity, or new to the Episcopal Church, will also likely feel at home in this accessible and ancient liturgy, and in a worship space replete with fragrant evergreens in our "English country style" church building.
For those so inclined, there is an optional, informal Carol-sing at 10:30pm.
This celebration of the birth of Jesus—Emmanuel, "God with us"—is an apt time to begin a journey into the Jesus Way.
We hope you will share this ancient, candlelit Christmas Eve tradition with us, whether you have come from across the country for the holiday, or live just across town.
All races, genders, religions, ages, ethnicities are welcome here. You are welcome here.
"Joy to the world, the Lord is come!"
