The first of our two Christmas Eve services is a Christ Mass with special musical offerings by some of the children, traditional carols, and—in lieu of a sermon—the children's simple enactment of the Gospel reading.
If you come from a Christian background, you will likely find something here that resonates. Seasoned Episcopalians will encounter texts from The Book of Common Prayer and its supplements. Those who are seekers, those new to Christianity, or new to the Episcopal Church, likely will also feel at home in this accessible and timeless liturgy, and in a worship space replete with fragrant evergreens in our "English country style" church building.
This celebration of the birth of Jesus—Emmanuel, "God with us"—is an apt time to begin a journey into the Jesus Way.
We hope you will share Christmas Eve with us whether you have come from across the country for the holiday, or live just across town.
People of all genders, races, religions, ages, and colors are welcome here. This means you!
O come, let us adore him.
