Guest Preachers During Lent

St. Mark’s welcomes several guests to our pulpit during Lent, as part of a “Festival of Preaching” intended to introduce the congregation to a variety of voices and viewpoints.

The schedule during March includes:

  • Mach 9: Michael O’Keeffe, a theologian and member of St. Mark’s

  • March 16: The Rev. Ted Nitz, deacon at St. James’ Episcopal Church in Pullman

  • March 23: Karla Neumann-Smiley, director of the Lutheran Campus Ministry at the University of Idaho

  • March 30: Bruce Pitman, board president of Family Promise of the Palouse
