Ash Wednesday Services

Please join us for an Ash Wednesday service, Wednesday, March 5, at 8 a.m., 12 noon, or 7 p.m. St. Mark’s will offer a traditional liturgy from the Book of Common Prayer, concluding with the Imposition of Ashes. Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the penitential season of Lent.

The 7 p.m. service will include Holy Eucharist. The Rev. Mary Beth Rivetti will preside and preach at the evening service. The 40-day season of Lent (excluding Sundays) ends with a celebration of Christ’s resurrection on Easter, April 20.
